Raiders storm past
Maryknoll for 26 runs


Iolani pounded 20 hits off five Maryknoll pitchers to win its first game of the season.

The Raiders led 7-0 after the first inning and added 11 more runs in the second. Shawn Agustin batted 3-for-4, driving in three runs and hitting a home run.

Pitchers Eric Muraoka and Wally Marciel held Maryknoll to just two runs over five innings.

The game was called due to the 10-run rule.

Kailua 4, Castle 3
The Surfriders scored all of their runs off homers to beat the Knights in a makeup of Wednesday's game.

Kailua's Ryan Rodrigues hit a two-run shot over the fence off pitcher Kaimi Ah New's low inside pitch in the first inning to put his team up 2-0. Castle responded with a run in the bottom of the first, but Ah New later gave up solo shots to Michael Kealoha and Kekoa Sua.

Rodrigues and Bronson Kamaka gave up nine hits but held the Knights to just three runs.

The game was called Wednesday due to a wet field and when conditions failed to improve yesterday, the game was moved to Kailua.

The Trojans used a five-run seventh-inning rally to beat the Marauders.

A solo home run by Mililani's Brandon Oshiro tied the game and a triple by Chaz Miyashiro drove in the go-ahead run.

Jordan Mikami hit a two-run homer in the loss.
