Jake Shimabukuro's still a favorite with Hawaii music fans. He's picked up three Hawaii Music Awards People's Choice wins, in categories of Entertainer of the Year, and Album and Instrumental Hawaiian Album of the Year for "Cross Current."


Hawaii Music Awards
continue to grow


Winners in the 7th annual Hawaii Music Awards People's Choice voting ballots, Special Recognition Awards and Music Education Honors were announced early today, with winners to be recognized during a ceremony taking place 6 p.m. April 4 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Tropics Showroom.

The public is invited to attend the dinner and show, with tickets priced at $60. Proceeds from the event will benefit Music Foundation of Hawaii Scholarship Program and the Hawaii Music Awards.
