Meg Ryan stars as boxing manager Jackie Kallen in "Against the Ropes."

"Against the Ropes": Meg Ryan stars in this true story as Jackie Kallen, a boxing manager who challenged the traditional male hierarchy of the pugilistic profession. Omar Epps and Charles S. Dutton co-star as the criminal thug and veteran trainer, respectively, who help Ryan's character become one of the most successful managers in the "sweet science's" history. (PG-13)

"Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen": Lindsay Lohan, coming off her breakout performance in last year's "Freaky Friday," stars in this film about a New York City teenager who tries to win the lead role in a production of "Pygmalion" as a way of fitting in at her new suburban school. Megan Fox plays her adversary. (PG)

"Eurotrip": When an American high schooler discovers that his masculine-named German pen pal is actually a cute girl, he and his friends journey to Europe to try to make an international love connection. Despite this rather tame synopsis, the film contains a hefty dose of "sexuality, nudity, language and drug/alcohol content," so it's rated R.

"Welcome to Mooseport": A political battle that brews between a New England hardware store owner (Ray Romano) and a former U.S. president (Gene Hackman) who retires there to write his memoirs. When the president is asked to run for the mayor's office, the store owner runs against him "just to keep things honest." (PG-13)
