The annual March for Life, sponsored by the anti-abortion group Hawaii Right to Life, marched out of the state Capitol and down Beretania Street yesterday. Abortion rights sign-holders staged a counterdemonstration in front of the Capitol, but security kept them apart. Yesterday marked the 31st anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's Roe vs. Wade decision establishing a woman's right to an abortion.
