Asashoryu wins again


TOKYO >> Yokozuna Asashoryu won his 10th match today, remaining the only undefeated sumotori at the New Year Grand Sumo Tournament.

Asashoryu beat Kotomitsuki (8-2), who he has now beaten eight straight times dating back to 2002.

Chiyotaikai improved to 9-1 and is alone in second place. Kakizoe, who was tied for second, fell to 8-2.
