HERE'S TO ANOTHER GREAT 20!: Dick Bradley, left, and Rick Enos opened four days of festivities marking the 20th anniversary of Compadres in Ward Centre with a small luncheon featuring a special menu on Wednesday. Enos told the guests he'd been so confident that Compadres would be a hit in Honolulu that he signed a 20-year lease on the space.

RIGHT ON, RICHARD!: Versatile character actor Richard MacPherson celebrated with his wife, Anne Marie, left, and Athena Espania at the opening-night party for Manoa Valley Theatre's "Scotland Road" on Wednesday. MacPherson is the central character in the convoluted yet predictable story about a mysterious woman and the sinking of the Titanic. Espania designed the costumes.

PARTY AT THE BEACH HOUSE!: Lina Girl, Bruddah Sam and Aaron Ka'onohi enjoyed the party as 'Ohana Records celebrated the success of "Our Ohana's 1st Christmas" at the Beach House on Thursday. The event was also a showcase for 'Ike Pono's new album, "Ka Mano Wai," and the big surprise came when they called up Kaulana Pakele and improvised a rocking "Moloka'i Slide."
