>> Sharon Sekiya has joined Finance Factors as Kailua-Kona mortgage center operations supervisor. She was most recently a residential loan officer for First Hawaiian Bank.

>> Maritime attorney Evelyn Black has joined law firm Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel as counsel. She concentrates her practice in defense of Jones Act claims, longshore claims, passenger personal injury claims and diving accidents. She most recently served as director of marine claims with John Mullen & Co. and previously owned her own maritime adjusting firm.

>> Rob Bertholf has joined Aston Hotels & Resorts Hawaii in the newly created position of Web programmer and graphic designer in the eCommerce department. He was previously an information technology craftsman with the U.S. Air Force in Germany, specializing in server management and internet/intranet development.


>> Oglivy & Mather Hawaii has promoted Holly Kaneko to creative services director and Holly Imai to account executive. Kaneko will be responsible for technical support, print production, vendor relations, and coordination of the agency's internal systems. Imai will manage daily activities and external programs and promotions for agency accounts including Hawaii Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.
