John Potter, CEO and postmaster general of the U.S. Postal Service, above, was greeted by a lion yesterday at the East-West Center during the unveiling of the 2005 Lunar New Year stamp series. The series was designed by Hawaii graphic artist Clarence Lee, below. Yesterday's event marked the first time the series was unveiled as a set, which will not be available for purchase until 2005. The award-winning series began in 1992 with the issuance of the Year of the Rooster stamp.
