Army Golden Knights parachuted into Schofield Barracks yesterday as part of the last Air Assault School graduation before the 25th Infantry Division deploys to Iraq and Afghanistan in February. Sgt. Paul McAlpin made jump No. 1,139 into Schofield. He had the Hawaiian flag mounted on his parachute.


GIVING SANTA A HAND

Staff Sgt. Eugene Lynch donned an elf-ear cap yesterday while Staff Sgt. Randy Doss wore a Santa Claus hat for the Toys for Tots benefit held at the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base. Marines brought toys for disadvantaged Oahu children and ran three miles to a drop box where they were to be donated.
