Tochiazuma improves
record to 9-0


FUKUOKA, Japan >> Tochiazuma remained undefeated at the Kyushu tournament today by defeating Tamanoshima.

Tochiazuma improved to 9-0 and is the only sumotori without a loss in the tournament.

Tochiazuma maintained his one-win advantage over yokozuna Asashoryu. Another win back are Kotonowaka, Hokutoriki, Chiyotaikai and Kyokushuzan.

Yokozuna Musashimaru, or Hawaii's Fiamalu Penitani, retired on Saturday.
