Soo signs to play basketball for Idaho State

India Soo, a 5-foot-6 guard for Kamehameha, has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball next year for the Idaho State Bengals of the Big Sky Conference.

Soo helped the Warriors to three consecutive top-three finishes in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu and the 2002 state championship.

"India will give us quickness and toughness defensively," said ISU coach Jon Newlee in a statement. "She was underrated offensively, but was able to show her offensive skills this past summer, playing for her club team. This is a great get for us as she was recruited by several other top Division I schools in this region."
