Hawaiian flying high

The parent company of Hawaiian Airlines posted a 26.7 percent gain this week to lead the way in the Bloomberg Honolulu Star-Bulletin index.

Hawaiian Holdings Inc. closed yesterday at $1.71, its second-highest closing price since filing for Chapter 11 reorganization bankruptcy on March 21. The only other time the company ended higher was when it hit $1.82 on Sept. 23.

Ceatech USA Inc. was dropped from the index this week, leaving only 11 members, after it was delisted from the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board for failing to make a required Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
