Isidro "Sid" Tomas Antonio Sr., 85, of Waianae, a retired Mutual Welding employee, merchant seaman, and farmer, died Oct. 14, 2003, in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Piddig, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. He is survived by wife Flora L.; sons Leonard M., Isidro T. Jr., and Eugene A.; daughters Marlynn "Lynna" Stevenson and Jarma F.G. Leandro Valdez Badua, 83, of Wahiawa, a retired Dole Food Co. employee, died Oct. 8, 2003, in St. Francis-West Medical Center. He was born in Barrangay #10, Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. Robert William Carroll Jr., 74, of Wailuku, a retired Maui Pineapple Co. heavy equipment operator, died Oct. 13, 2003, at home under hospice care. He was born in Bergie, Mo. He is survived by companion Sara Taketane; sons Wayne, Robert III, Abraham, and Warren; daughters Carrie Carroll, Jerrybeth DeMello, Lillian Alameida, Faith Ancog, Rebecca E. Vierra, and Vivian Melekiola; hanai-son Alan Morishige; brothers Buddy, Jerry, and Herbert; sister Faye Fasken; 41 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Evelyn Marguerite Downing, 92, of Kaneohe, an artist, died Oct. 12, 2003, in a Kapolei nursing home. She was born in Camarillo, Calif. She is survived by daughter Jeanne Unser-Hess, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Private services.

Gladys Sadame Funatsu, 84, of Hilo, a nursery worker, died Oct. 10, 2003, in Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo. She was born in Pahala, Hawaii. She is survived by brother Tomeki Nishioka, and sisters Yayoi Fujii and Sueko Marumoto. Private services.

Lola Marie Hamilton, 86, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, Honolulu Distributors proprietor, died Oct. 16, 2003, at home. She was born in Melvin, Iowa. She is survived by son Robert, daughters Jill Kepler and Debbie VanHorn, sister Ruth Filice, and six grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Central Union Church, Atherton Chapel, Honolulu. Robert "Larry" Mitchell, 44, of Waimea, Hawaii, Custom Painting of Hawaii owner, died Oct. 17, 2003. He was born in Spartanburg, S.C.
