Grace Shinayo Goto, 86, of Honolulu, a retired Kress Department Store employee in Kaimuki, died Sept. 29, 2003, in Hale Ho Aloha. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by husband Hisao; son Alan; daughter Elaine Kitagawa; brothers Masao, Yoshinobu and Albert Yamato; sister Fumiko Fukuda; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Hinayo Karasuda, 81, of Pahala, Hawaii, a former Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co. macadamia nut harvester, died Oct. 1, 2003, in Kau Hospital. She was born in Pahala. She is survived by husband Takeo; son Richard M.; daughters Lorraine S. and Nancy M.; brothers Fumio, Masao, Yoshimi, Takeo and Akira Honda; and three grandchildren. Private services.

Anthony Perreira Martin, 90, of Hilo, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard pipefitter, died Oct. 7, 2003, in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Waipunalei, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Martha Ishizaki Martin; daughter Carol M. Davis; son Marvin P.; brothers George P. and John P.; sisters Vicki Curtis, Patsy Markiewitch, Helen P. Phyllis Kiyoko Shimokawa, 87, of Waimanalo, a homemaker, died Oct. 7, 2003, in Kuakini Medical Center. She was born in Hawaii. She is survived by sons Robert, Sidney and Wayne; daughters Vicki H.
