GREAT MEMORIES: Michi Robbs, center, and Nell Sawyer, right, talked with Martin Denny and his daughter, Christina on the way from Indigo to the Hawaii Theatre for "Primitiva!Don Tiki's Tribute to the Exotic Sounds of Martin Denny" on Saturday. Robbs has enjoyed his "exotica" music for years. The albums are from her collection.

GUESTS OF HONOR: Art Todd, center, talked with Martin Denny, left, and Augie Colón shortly before the show started. Colón sat in with the Don Tiki band to play "Bacoa"with his son, Lopaka, just before Denny joined them to close the show with "Quiet Village." For the encore Denny and Colón led Don Tiki through "Firecrackers."

A JOB WELL DONE: Tanner Handerson, left, and Lopaka Colón met Dick Jensen after the show. Colón performed with the Don Tiki band. Henderson's group, Chant, added a fresh version of "Hawaiian War Chant" as guests Jensen, Shari Lynn, Jack Law, Annie MacLachlan, Ed Kaahea and Clifford and Rannette Miller were in the audience.
