The Children's Discovery Center in Kakaako celebrated Grandparents Day yesterday with activities for the young and the young-at-heart, offering families a chance to bond. Noa Gagner looked like a conehead after receiving a lift from his grandfather, Ray Gagner, at another exhibit.

It looked like any other day at the supermarket, but it really was part of another exhibit. Clockwise from bottom left are Emree Yonemura, Lauren Tulba, Casey Hayakawa, Camryn Cadinha-Oku, Laraine Yonemura, Jade Spalina and Shelby Cadinha-Oku. One parent observing this scene said, "Notice how there's no boys?"
