IT'S PARTY TIME! Cast members Michael Ng, left, and Joey Caldarone celebrated with theater fans Michi Robbs and Carolyn Shigemura at the opening-night party for Manoa Valley Theatre's hot production of "Bat Boy: The Musical" on Wednesday. Ng, who plays one of the villains in "Bat Boy," will be seen as a hero next month in "Blood of the Samurai: The Series" on OC16.

GREAT JOB, GUYS! "Bat Boy" director Scott Rogers, left, talked with cast members Karen I. Valasek and Kevin W. Yamada after they got out of makeup and joined the party. The menu didn't include rats, blood or cow's heads, but swarms of black plastic bats were part of the decor, and Valasek's colorful headgear was also "batty." MVT Associate Producer Karen Bumatai wore sharp fangs.

WE LOVE THAT HEART! Helen Berger, left, joined "Bat Boy" cast members Joey Caldarone, Kevin W. Yamada and Shannon Kaleo Loo in admiring Sherry Chock Wong's latest barely-there theater party ensemble. Wong said she designed the backless top and blue sequined short shorts early that morning and had them made later that day. (The heart reads "Manoa Valley Theatre.")
