Clara Young Carvalho, 78, of Honolulu, a retired civil service employee at Fort Shafter, died Sept. 7, 2003, in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Daniel; son Wayne; daughters Carolyn Cruz, Barbara Lacaden and Susan Carvalho; brother Charles Young; sister Cora Whittingham; and six grandchildren. Felixberta M. Daligdig, 81, of Ewa Beach, died Aug. 28, 2003, in St. Francis-West Medical Center. She was born in the Philippines. She is survived by daughters Alice D. Sterling, Elisa D. Cuevas and Candilaria D. Aguinid; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mass: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church, 94-675 Farrington Highway, Waipahu. Esther H.Y. Hong, 80, of Honolulu, a retired Alexander Young Bakery sales clerk, died Aug. 30, 2003, in the Convalescent Center of Honolulu. She was born in Puhi, Kauai. She is survived by son Michael; brother George; sisters Clara Amaki, Gladys Lau, Alice Watson and Elsie Silvers; and a grandchild. Private services.

Jean Kapuras-Domingo, 69, of Waipahu, died Sept. 5, 2003, at home. She was born in Olaa, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Placido "P.C." Domingo; sons Radford and Ryan Domingo; daughter Rene Baldovi; brothers Robert and George Kapuras Sr.; sisters Helen Hu, Priscilla Robia, Caroline Kuilipule and June Barr; and seven grandchildren. Raymond Isao Nakagaki, 84, of Honolulu, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard electronic mechanic, died Sept. 3, 2003, at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Fumie; son Wayne; daughters Joann Izumi, Gayle Kim, Michele Nakayama and Karen Yamamoto; brothers Edward and Yoneshi Nakagaki and George and Morris Morikawa; sister Alice Okabe; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Frances Lei Napuunoa Nakoa, 91, of Honolulu, a homemaker, died Aug. 26, 2003, in Aloha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Hana, Maui. She is survived by sons Julian "Nappy" Jr., Milton "Nappy" and Marvin Napuunoa; brothers Anthony and Calvin Ing; sister Frances Ho; 26 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Janet Ayame Shiraki, 82, of Honolulu and Mililani, died Aug. 24, 2003. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Melvin, Ernest and Carlton; daughter Hazel Saiki; brothers Alan and Leonard Kimura; sisters Barbara Nishida and Charlotte Hirose; and nine grandchildren. Private services.

Harold Silva, 80, of Wailuku, a retired schoolteacher, died Aug. 17, 2003, in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Hal, hanai daughter Lori Nogami-Young and brothers Adrien and Albert. Services: 10 a.m. Sept. 28 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Aloha attire. No flowers.

Andrew Leonard Stone, 60, of Honolulu, a preschool administrator and an engineering company accountant, died Sept. 9, 2003. He is survived by mother Muriel, son Thomas and brother Allen. Services to be held in Long Beach, Calif.

Walter Tadashi Yoshitomi, 60, of Honolulu, formerly of Pearl City, a University of Hawaii at Manoa painting foreman, died Aug. 31, 2003, at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughters Gerraine Leong and Janine Yoshitomi, mother Elsie, brother Thomas, sister Carol Uyehara, former wife Fay and a grandchild.
