Oahu lanes will close
for upkeep and repair


The following lane closures will take place for maintenance and repair work:

-- The bicycle route and sidewalk along Nimitz Highway in the Diamond Head-bound direction between Sumner and Smith streets are closed until further notice for reconstruction work.

-- There will be nighttime lane closures on Nimitz Highway between Sumner and Queen streets today through Friday for waterline and railing reconstruction work. One or two lanes of traffic will be closed in either the Ewa-bound or Diamond Head-bound direction from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The following lane closures will take place today through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.:

-- One Honolulu-bound lane or one Koko Head-bound lane of Kalanianaole Highway will be closed between the H-1 freeway and West Hind Drive for roadway work.

-- A single lane along Kamehameha Highway/Moanalua Freeway in the Honolulu-bound and Ewa-bound directions between McGrew Loop and Aloha Stadium will be closed for freeway lighting improvements.

A single lane along Moanalua Road from Moanalua Freeway to Aiea Access Road in the Ewa-bound direction will also be closed for freeway lighting improvements.

-- Single lane closures at the Pali Highway, Kamehameha Highway and Kalanianaole Highway (Castle Junction) intersection and the Middle and King streets intersection will take place for the construction of new sidewalks, medians and ramps to meet requirement of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
