Internationally acclaimed violinist Midori paused backstage with Honolulu Symphony Music Director Samuel Wong before going out to meet her fans and sign autographs at the Blaisdell Concert Hall on Friday. Maestro Wong and the symphony opened the 2003-2004 season in stellar style as Midori closed a memorable concert with a beautiful performance of Brahms' demanding Violin Concerto in D Major

Tanya Tieppo and Tony McDevitt had a quiet moment poolside during "Feng Shui V" at Ciao Mein in the Hyatt Regency Waikiki on Saturday. Charlene Rivera, Joni Addison, Mandie Au, Tom Caprio, Kristy Miller and Chris Veatch also enjoyed the party.
