WOLF AT WORK: Peanut Butter Wolf brought a true old school ambience to The Maze on Saturday when he took over the club's Paradox Lounge and entertained the packed house with dance mixes he created by spinning the wheels of steel. The Wolf's skillful blending of obscure hip-hop cuts and more familiar material held the crowd well past 3 a.m.

ALOHA, SONNY!: Sonny Kamahele, seated, got a great send off during his final performance at the Halekulani on Tuesday. Genoa Keawe, Melveen Leed, Harry B. Soria Jr., and Kealoha Kalama stopped by for a select VIP party. Genoa and Melveen sang with Sonny during the show. Kealoha danced a hula.

SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST: Sonny Kamahele's retirement party continued at the Halekulani after the show was over. Harry B. Soria Jr., right, looked on while Sonny, left, and Genoa Keawe sang "Poina 'Ole," a song written by Sonny's father, and Alan Akaka provided "unplugged" accompaniment. Pikake Enos, Lillian Garfolo and Grace White danced hula at the after party. Gary Aiko and Mihana Souza were also among the VIP party guests.
