Milo Shade and Sudden Rush are on the bill this week; doors open at 9:45 p.m. for the 18-and-over crowd. Call 585-8488 ...

ASK ALMOST any bodybuilder about what they do, and you'll find it's more of a lifestyle choice for them instead of just a hobby or something to do in their spare time.

At Saturday's "Aloha Muscle Jam," scheduled for 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Blaisdell, more than 60 vendor booths will be set up with various supplements, nutrition aids, diet information and training equipment to help folks live that lifestyle. The "Strongest Man in History," Bill Kazmaier, will be there to host a strongman competition during the afternoon, and current Mr. USA Edrise Ward-El will also make an appearance.

Seven bucks gets you in at the "Aloha Muscle Jam," and don't forget to check out the bikini fashion show at 1:30 p.m. Call 551-6805 for more info ...

ALSO ON Saturday, "Escape" at Indigo drops the bass with guest DJs Metal X and Monkey from Metro Underground in the Opium Den. The Sisters in Sound's DJ Toki will join them, while DJs Marloca and Miss Angel hold things down in the Green Room.

Doors open at 10:30 p.m. for "Escape"; party people 21 years of age and older are welcome ...

AND TAKE this for what it's worth: Two Oahu residents have placed among the top 10 finalists in this year's "World's Most Beautiful Feet Contest."

Kailua resident Jennie Lee and Honolulu resident Emily Gardner were chosen from entries mailed and e-mailed to Foot.com, the Web site that sponsors the competition, now in its fourth year.

If Lee or Gardner manage to stomp the competition, they'll receive a seven-night vacation in the Caribbean, and a professional photographer will create a portfolio of her feet for use in a modeling career. Good luck, ladies ...
