U.S. women win
volleyball bronze
Former Hawaii standout Heather Bown and Punahou graduate Lindsey Berg helped lead the U.S. women to a bronze medel finish in the World Grand Prix volleyball tournament after beating the Netherlands 25-22, 25-20, 28-26 yesterday in Andria, Italy.
The tournament had been scheduled for Asia but was moved to Italy this year because of SARS.
