Ad 2 Honolulu needs nonprofit to promote

Nonprofit organizations are invited to apply with Ad 2 Honolulu for a free, year-long public awareness campaign. The organization of advertising industry professionals age 32 and younger prepares and executes a pro-bono print and broadcast campaign for a nonprofit group each year.

Applications may be obtained from Dana Lehman via phone at 792-0248 or e-mail at dlehman@honpub.com. The deadline is Aug. 8.

For the last two years, the local chapter of Ad 2 has won the top national public service campaign award from the American Advertising Federation and is hoping for a three-peat.

NEW JOBS

>> Chaney Brooks has named James Muratsuchi senior vice president of the residential group in its American Homes division. He also will continue to serve as head of its government group. Chaney Brooks has named Renee Blondin Nip principal broker for the American Homes division. The residential group will combine brokerage services of the American Homes division with Chaney Brooks' existing residential and military property management services. Nip will oversee the rental and brokerage services offered under the new division. She was most recently with the Hawaii attorney general's office and the state Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs.

>> Jaye Chow has been hired as a labor relations analyst at the Hawaii Employers Council. She will be researching, compiling and analyzing data related to labor relations and collective bargaining. Chow was most recently human resources director at Mid-Pacific Institute. The Hawaii Employers Council is an employer association that represents management and assists its member companies in the areas of contract negotiations and employee relations.

ON THE BOARD

>> Jocelyn Lee has been named chairwoman of the national Ad 2 board of directors. Lee is a media planner and buyer at Starr Seigle Communications Inc. Also representing Hawaii on the national board is Song Choi. The director of corporate communications at CTA will head the diversity committee. Ad 2's national board governs Ad 2 chapters across the country. Ad 2 is a division of the American Advertising Federation committed to the personal and professional growth of advertising and marketing professionals age 32 and under.
