The second week of the 31st annual Hawaii State Farm Fair brings Tony Angelo to the stage with his hilarious hypnotism show. He may have you mooing or crowing as he often invites 20 or so volunteers to the stage and in seconds is able to make them remove some of their clothes, dance, yell or take on the personality of an animal or celebrity.

When: 6 p.m. to midnight Thursdays and Fridays, and noon to midnight Saturdays and Sundays through Aug. 3

Admission: $3 for adults, $1.50 for ages 5 to 11, and free for under 5

The former Maui resident had a 15-year gig with Knott's Berry Farm before taking his show on the road.

Otherwise the fair's many attractions include rides and games; island-grown produce; the Meadow Gold Exotic Petting Zoo featuring a kangaroo, zebra, camel, water buffalo and other creatures; 4-H Livestock Exhibit; and Orchid and Plant Sale.

Here is the schedule:

Today

6:30 p.m.: Learn flower arranging with Jerry Riveria and Pat Lagon of Sam's Club, Aloha Tent Learning Center; repeats at 8 p.m.
7 p.m.: Cooking demonstration and sampling, Aloha Tent
7:30 p.m.: Hypnotist Tony Angelo performs in the Main Arena; repeats at 9:30 p.m.
8 p.m.: Food eating contest, Aloha Tent

Saturday

$15 Wristband good for unlimited rides from noon to 6 p.m.
2 to 4 p.m.: STAR 101.9 Hit the Jackpot! event offers up a Nissan as prize, Aloha Tent
Noon to 5 p.m.: Take Tilapia Challenge, hosted by the Aquaculture Development Program, Aloha Tent Learning Center
1:30 p.m.: Hypnotist Tony Angelo performs in the Main Arena; also, 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.
4 to 6:30 p.m.: Meadow Gold Healthy Baby Contest Finals, Main Arena
6 p.m.: Food eating contest, Aloha Tent
6:30 p.m.: Learn general bromeliad culture with Marty Lum of Hawaii Bromeliad Society, Aloha Tent Learning Center
7 p.m.: Cooking demonstration and sampling, Aloha Tent
8 p.m.: Learn to raise native plants with Rick Barboza of the Hui Ka Maoli Ola Nursery, Aloha Tent Learning Center

Sunday

Admission 50 cents with empty Pepsi can from noon to 6 p.m. There will also be discounts for rides from noon to 6 p.m.
2 to 4 p.m.: STAR 101.9 Hit the Jackpot! event offers up a Nissan as prize, Aloha Tent
Noon-5 p.m.: Terrariums & Crafts Keiki Experiences with Hawaii Nature Center, Aloha Tent Learning Center
5 p.m.: Halau Hula 'Olana, Main Arena
6 p.m.: Food eating contest, Aloha Tent
6:30 p.m.: Learn basic anthurium culture with Richard Okubo of the Hawaiian Anthurium Society, Aloha Tent Learning Center
7 p.m.: Cooking demonstration and sampling, Aloha Tent
7 p.m.: Touch of Gold concert, Main Arena
8 p.m.: Learn to grow vegetables in containers, Aloha Tent Learning Center
9 to 11 p.m.: Battle Royale and No Bare Feet perform in the Main Arena
