The Rev. Winona M. Reid McMoore Ah-Kuoi, 73, of Waianae, a Makaha Elementary School bilingual teacher, died June 26 in Ann Pearl Nursing Facility. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Edward; sons Alex Pritchard, Edward Ah-Kuoi and William "Buddy" and Dr. Curtis Lavatai; daughters Janie Villela, Marian "Peaches" Boyd, Shereen Garrett, Marie Yagin and Kristl Bell; brothers Raleigh Reid and James McMoore; sisters Marian Alexander, Leatrice Otineru, Shirley Lantrip, Jane Utu, Taa Whittle and the Rev. Lucille "Sina" Nua; 27 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Sunday and 11:30 a.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Call after 6 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday. Roger Yutaka Fujieda, 63, of Aiea, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard nuclear engineer, died Tuesday at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Charlotte F., sons Byron and Garret, daughter Sarah, father Kiyoshi, mother Fujie, sister Patricia Nitta and two grandchildren. Services: noon Monday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Casual attire. No flowers.

Cipriano Mabanag Gamiao, 88, of Maunaloa, Molokai, died July 3 in Molokai General Hospital. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by caregiver Perly Eleccion. Services: 8:30 a.m. July 19 at Maunaloa Door of Faith Church in Maunaloa.

Dr. Elizabeth Rixon Gladding, 95, of Honolulu, a retired osteopathic physician, died July 2. She was born in Canada. She is survived by daughter Mary E. Bacon and a grandchild. Services pending. Donations suggested to the Hawaiian Humane Society.

Tokio Hikida, 85, of Waipahu, a retired Amfac Distribution Co. warehouseman, died Saturday in Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughter Aileen Hara, sister Betty K. Mallicote and two grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Casual attire.

June Marcel Lueders, 80, of Honolulu, a retired hairdresser, died June 15. She was born in Wausa, Neb. She is survived by husband Dirk, son Dirk Jr., daughter Shelly McClain, sisters Phyllis Buman and Nathlyn Nelson, and four grandchildren. Private services.

Malaea F. Massey, 56, of Pearl City, died Tuesday in Pearl City. She was born in Fagaalu, American Samoa. She is survived by sons Sam Jr. and Failava Matamua; stepsons Jason and Travis; daughter Kuata S. Ofoia; brothers Glenn Taylor and Failava, Paisa Jr., Ose, Eseroma and Osovale Apaisa; sisters Letofia Yoshida, Tailua Van Scoyoc and Lauulu Burgrey; and nine grandchildren. Ruth Naomi Metzel, 68, of Hawaiian Ocean View Estates, Hawaii, a retired Conalco aluminum employee in Hannibal, Ohio, died Saturday at home. She was born in York, Pa. She is survived by husband Raymond, son Raymond Jr., daughter Vicki Lee, brother Joseph Godfrey, sisters Dorothy Trimmer and June Leader, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. No local services. Services and burial to be held in Ohio at a later date. Donations suggested to Hospice of Kona or American Cancer Society West Hawaii Division.

Jack Nobuo Murakami, 80, of Honolulu, a retired Schofield Barracks clerk, died July 1 at home. He was born in Honolulu. No survivors. Private services.

Betty Haruko Nakamura, 80, of Honolulu, a retired Reef Hotel housekeeper, died June 20. She was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Tsugio; sons Wayne and Rickie; daughters Theodora Tamanaha, Lynn Mine and Trudy Hiyane; sisters Otome Arakawa and Katherine Morikawa; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Jay Richards, 72, of Honolulu, a travel industry activities director, died July 2. He was born in Massachusetts. He is survived by wife Yoko, son Gary, daughters Stacey and Napua, brother Howard Rachlin, sister Bobbi Geller and two grandchildren. Francis Alexander "Franco" Silva, 73, of Senatobia, Miss., a retired federal government employee and a GTE Hawaiian Tel employee, died June 29 at home. He also was a Korean War veteran. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Lillian H.; sons Damien, Alika and Clay; sisters Eleanor Rapozo, Clara Murphy and Rosemary Silva; and nine grandchildren. Services unknown. Enoch "Enoka" Kekuiokalani Spencer, 68, of Kailua, a retired GTE Hawaiian Tel station supervisor, died July 3 in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu.
