Bert Du Teil, Jan Thompson and Ruby Kaneshiro chatted at the event. Du Teil is the widow of the Rev. Dr. Claude F. Du Teil, who founded the "Peanut Butter Ministry" in 1978.

Leigh Case blew a conch shell yesterday at Hawaiian Memorial Park to start a memorial service for 668 Hawaii State Hospital patients who died between 1930 and 1960. Because of a lack of funding, the remains were not buried until 1960.
