Corrections and
clarifications

>> Amanda Schull attends Indiana University, not the University of Indiana as reported in a story on Page D1 yesterday.

>> Three women who say they were sexually assaulted by Andrew Luster have filed civil suits against him. A late-edition story on Page A6 yesterday incorrectly said the suits were filed against Duane "Dog" Chapman.

>> Kauai County Fire Chief Charles Hiramoto said he did not see any problem with a news release announcing a donation of free eye surgery to Hawaii firefighters. In a story on Page A7 yesterday, Hiramoto was incorrectly referred to as Maui County fire chief, and his last name was incorrectly spelled Hironaka.

>> Cheryl Langlais, of Niu Valley Middle School, was pictured learning the techniques of police science in a Page A3 photo Tuesday. The caption misidentified her as Jessica Carew.

>> Michael J. Golojuch Jr. is the project coordinator for Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays-Oahu. He was misidentified as the group's president in a Wednesday article about a Christian group's sponsorship of an Independence Day celebration.
