Mary Agbisit, 90, of Huntington Beach, Calif., formerly of Honomu, a homemaker, died May 30 at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by daughters Helen Argel, Angeline Pavao, Margaret Amaral and Lorna Groth; brother Antone DeSa; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Marcelo Ramelb Aranda, 93, of Waipahu, a retired custodian for Pearl City Highland Elementary School and Our Lady of Good Counsel, died May 12 in St. Francis-West Medical Center. He was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. He is survived by wife Crisanta, daughter Anida, sister Eleutria, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Sheryl "Mitch" Brownlee, 55, of Kailua-Kona, a Kona Board of Realtors administrative assistant, died Tuesday at home. She was born in Marshall Town, Iowa. She is survived by son Sol Bannister, daughter Jennifer Goodman, parents Bud and Dorothy Moen, brother Randall Moen, sisters Karen Valentine and Shelley Moen, and two grandchildren. Ernest Young Pui Ching, 79, of Honolulu, a federal government employee, died Wednesday at home. He was born in Honolulu. Frank Constantine Medeiros Jr., 76, of Kailua-Kona, a chef for the former Kona Inn Hotel and a retired maintenance man, died Sunday in Kona Community Hospital. He also was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served in World War II. He was born in Pahoehoe, Hawaii. He is survived by son Jerry, daughters Janice Medeiros and Janet Newlon, brothers Albert and Manuel, sisters Mildred Pogtis and Mary Jumalon, eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
