The senior and junior class students formed a circle around the Coral Cross and prayed at the end of the Coral Cross Ceremony. Besides the Christian Ascension holiday, the event marks the founding of the school and also honored kumu hula Leina'ala Heine, who received the 2003 Emmalani award for her role in enhancing the use of Hawaiian language and music during Priory chapel.
