STUDENTS' HANDIWORK

Students from King Intermediate School performed a hula yesterday at the start of a ceremony dedicating a new ceramic mural at the school.

The mural, consisting of 893 hand-painted tiles, was crafted by the school's students and depicts the chase between Pele and Kamapuaa, the pig god, at Kanehoalani Ridge near Kualoa.
