The movie's early wrap party Saturday night was without star Adam Sandler, who reportedly flew to the East Coast on the Sony studio jet to visit an ailing relative. ...

Local-born director Kaya Hatta needs actors (mostly children 9 to15 years of age), experienced crew and interns for her 30-minute PBS film "Fishbowl," an adaptation of Lois-Ann Yamanaka's "Wild Meat and the Bully Burgers." Filming is scheduled for Aug. 4 to 15. The actors must speak fluent pidgin.
