field hope with upset
of lone yokozuna

The Mongolian, who is the only yokozuna in the tournament, lost to Kyokushuzan(4-5) today to see his lead decrease to one. Asashoryu was the only unbeaten wrestler left.

Toki beat Aogiyama to lead the charge of five wrestlers to 7-2, Buyuzan beat Jumonji, Wakanosato took out Takamisakari, Kaio flipped Tosanoumi and Chiyotaikai stopped Tamanoshima.
