Iolani, Maryknoll meet
for shot at state berth
Iolani and Maryknoll survived one more round of the Interscholastic League of Honolulu third-place tournament, and will square off for the league's final state tournament berth.
They meet tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at McCabe Gym.
Iolani, which finished third in the ILH regular season, routed Sacred Hearts 55-33 last night to advance.
The Raiders went on a 19-3 run in the first quarter and never looked back. Hennasea Tokumura led Iolani with 13 points and Ginger Gravelle added 11 points.
Nicole Lehner scored a game-high 16 points to lead the Lancers. The Raiders held the Lancers' Megan Burton to 10 points.
Punahou and Kamehameha have secured state berths.

Maryknoll 46, Mid-Pacific 40: Cheryl Lee and Sela Fisilau dominated the paint as the Spartans defeated the Owls.
Maryknoll took charge of the game with a 13-0 run to end the first quarter, with Lee and Fisilau scoring 10 of the 13 points. The Owls scored the first seven points of the game.
Lee scored a team-high 14 points and Fisilau came off the bench to add 13 points. Shannon Nishi scored a game-high 15 points for the Owls.
