Sheila Luke Akana, 68, of Kaneohe, a retired Kapunahala Elementary School teacher's aide, died Tuesday at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Bernard, daughters Denise Akana and Sheldeen Peneku, sister Sherry Ponce, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Diamond Head Mortuary. Chiyoko Arizumi, 86, of Honolulu, died April 23. She was born in Umauma, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Norman and Lloyd, daughters Margaret Arizumi and Karen Sekiya, brothers Kiyoshi and Sadami Deai, sister Hisako Hashimoto and two grandchildren. Private services.

John Joseph Bruton, 94, of Kailua, a U.S. Army staff sergeant who served in World War II, died April 21 in Castle Medical Center. He was born in New York City. He is survived by wife Vera, daughter Barbara Fuller, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. George Catholic Church in Waimanalo. John Hon Chang, 82, of Honolulu, a retired chemical engineer for the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, died Thursday in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Margaret, daughters June Chang and Carol Chang-Phelps, and two grandchildren. No services. Brendan Philip Chee, 18, of Honolulu, died April 25 in St. Francis-West Hospice. He was born in Honolulu.
