Moanalua remains
undefeated

Patti Hardimon and Kepua Lee combined for 30 points as Moanalua stayed unbeaten in the Oahu Interscholastic Association by beating McKinley 53-42 last night.

Hardimon scored six of her team-high 18 points in the first quarter, but McKinley still led 11-10. The Menehunes rebounded to take a 23-18 lead at halftime.

The Tigers' Amber Lee scored seven points in the second and fourth quarters and finished with a game-high 22 points. No other McKinley player scored more than seven points, though.

The Menehunes went 16-for-26 from the free-throw line.

Kalaheo 64, Kalani 44: Shaina Siliga scored 12 points as the Mustangs stayed within reach of frontrunning Kahuku and Moanalua in the East.

Kalaheo was coming off a bad loss to McKinley on Wednesday in which it only scored 23 points. Siliga was held scoreless in that game.
