OUTLINING A POSITION AGAINST THE WAR

War protesters picketed outside the Marine recruiting station on Kapiolani Boulevard yesterday as part of the National Day of Protest. Joel Fischer joined other protesters in lying on the sidewalk. Their bodies then were outlined with chalk, leaving "dead body" profiles on the sidewalk after they got up. Supporters of the war also held a rally yesterday at Ala Moana Beach Park, waving flags and singing patriotic songs.
