Lanakila will add "Hot Meal" routes to its Meals on Wheels Program in July for the area from Waimanalo to Kahuku.

The program has served seniors for more than 30 years and now provides up to 2,000 meals daily trough its group dining and home-delivered services.

Laura Colbert, president and chief executive officer of Lanakila, said the additional hot-meal deliveries "will truly be a benefit for a traditionally underserved community."
