Radford stays atop
West with overtime victory

Jamie Kua momentarily saved Campbell at the end of regulation, but Radford eventually won 46-40 in two overtimes in an Oahu Interscholastic Association basketball game last night.

Kua hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to tie the game at 33 and send it into overtime.

But Radford finally pulled away in the second extra frame, outscoring Campbell 9-3.

The Rams stayed atop the Western Division standings at 7-0, a half-game ahead of Pearl City.

Pearl City 38, Aiea 27: Christie Ayers scored 15 points despite hitting just three of 12 shots from the field, and the Chargers woke up in the second half to beat Na Alii.

Pearl City led 10-8 at halftime, but scored 13 points in the third quarter and 15 more in the final period to beat host Aiea.
