ALOUN FARMS
Pickings are plentiful at Aloun Farms in Kapolei, where the public is invited to harvest their own produce and take a walk through The Maze.

The Maze returns

Walk through a corn maze, pick your own field-ripened melons and vegetables, enjoy free hayrides and more at the annual "The Maze in Kapolei" at Aloun Farms.

The Maze also offers visitors an opportunity to experience firsthand the experience of picking island fresh honeydew, cantaloupe, watermelons, sweet corn and Ewa sweet onions, available on a pick-and-pay basis.

The Maze and public produce picking hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday, repeating April 12 and 13; and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. April 18 and 19. Proceeds wil benefit Campbell High School Future Farmers of America program.

Tomorrow, Meadow Gold will be dishing out free vanilla bean ice cream and allow keiki to take photographs with mascots Lani Moo and Kawika Moo. Bring a half-gallon of Meadow Gold or Viva milk carton and receive $1 off maze admission.

On April 12, pony rides, a petting zoo and inflatable jumpers add to the attraction. Present a Times Royal Card to receive $1 off Maze admission for up to four people. On April 19, there'll be a giant Easter egg hunt and picture taking with the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for various age groups, ending with an adult hunt at 11:45 a.m. Bring a Kraft cheese wrapper or a non-perishable item for the Hawaii Food Bank and receive a $1 admission discount.

General admission to The Maze is $8; $7 per person for groups of 6 or more; $5 for children ages 6 to 12; and free for children under 5.
