The Hawai'i International Film Festival will be hosting its annual Oscar Night America party tomorrow at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Oscar party at Royal
The Honolulu party, a benefit for the festival, is one of 40 official parties held across the United States sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
The party will feature a satellite-live telecast of ABC's coverage of the ceremony, a "Predict the Winners" contest, food and wine, a silent auction and the awarding of a grand prize.
Cocktails will be served starting at 4 p.m., with the telecast starting a half-hour later. The silent auction will feature autographed DVDs, videos, soundtracks and other movie memorabilia.
Tickets are $150 per person, $100 for festival ohana members (purchase limited to two tickets) and $500 per couple, which includes a Silver festival membership.
