Beer drinkers’ delight

There'll be suds-a-plenty on Saturday at the Kona Brewers Festival, 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel.

More than 60 ales and lagers from 30 breweries -- from Hawaii and nationwide -- will be poured, representing styles from light pilsners to the darkest stouts.

And because you shouldn't drink on an empty stomach, 25 local restaurants will offer dishes that pair well with beer.

Tickets are $35 in advance; $40 at the door and include eight brew-tasting coupons, unlimited food samples and entertainment. Call (808) 331-3033.
