Purchase some yummy goodies at Kamehameha Schools' annual Hoolaulea, which takes place tomorrow on Bishop Museum's Great Lawn.

Island beats, plenty eats

Star-Bulletin staff

The Bishop Museum's Great Lawn will be the location, once again, for Kamehameha Schools' annual Hoolaulea, a fund-raiser for the Kamehameha Schools Association of Teachers and Parents.

While admission is free, money will be made through food and product booths manned by each of the schools' classes, like a thirst aid station and Hawaiian plate booth, as well as booths with neighbor island products from Molokai, the Big Island and Kauai.

Games and rides will also be offered that will lend to the carnival-like atmosphere.

On the entertainment stage, early morning music will be offered by the schools' Children's Chorus, the High School Band, the Middle School Jazz Band and the Hawaiian Ensemble and Concert Glee Club.

Starting around 11 a.m., however, some of Hawaii's main music acts will be performing. Scheduled acts include the Makaha Sons, Ho'okena, the Brothers Cazimero, Melveen Leed, Na Palapalai, Imua, Three Plus and Ten Feet.

>> Place: Bishop Museum, Great Lawn
