OCEAN CLUB WEEKEND

AIN'T NO PARTY LIKE THE ELECTRIC PIRANHA ROOM!: Russell Tanoue and Malia Song enjoyed the vibe of the Electric Piranha Room at the Ocean Club on Saturday. Song turned heads wearing little more than feathers, fishnets and a metal breastplate with two strategically placed flashing lights. Jason Ulep, of HyperSquad, and Eddie D, of Punahou Spa, were also in attendance.

IT'S HER PARTY ...: Former Miss Hawaii Billie Takaki danced a hula to the music of Holomua as she hosted "Heart to Heart," a fund-raiser for the American Heart Association, at the Ocean Club on Sunday. Kenneth Makuakane explained later that the song, "Ku'u Hoa," is about having a secret friend.

"HERE SHE COMES ...": Miss America 2000 Angela Baraquio Grey, her handsome husband, Tinifuloa Gray, of Reign, left, and inimitable singer-comic actor Tanner Henderson, of Chant, were among the friends who came out to support Takaki and the cause. Chant was impressive as the second musical act to perform; they are developing a unique sound.
