Kalid Abdalah of Piedmont, Calif., finished the Great Aloha Run in 39 minutes, 49 seconds to win the race yesterday over Malcolm Campbell of Marietta, Ga. by 34 seconds. Christian Madsen of Honolulu was the first local finisher, coming in one second behind Campbell.

Cori Mooney of Boise, Idaho, was the first woman to finish, beating Hawaii Pacific's Sayuri Kusutani by eight seconds. Mooney ran a 45:52 to finish 19th overall.
