Brooke Langton to star
in drama based in Hawaii

Film and television actress Brooke Langton has landed the female lead role in the Imagine TV/20th Century Fox TV Hawaii-based drama "The Break."

Langton, 32, will play the sister of the central character portrayed by Dylan Bruno, a cop who moves back to Hawaii to raise his estranged son.

Langton's big-screen credits include roles in "The Replacements," with Keanu Reeves, and the upcoming "The Hulk." She first gained exposure on the TV series "Baywatch," then "Beverly Hills 90210."

She appeared in made-for-television movies "Moment of Truth: A Mother's Deception" (1994) and "Eye of the Stalker" (1995), and later in the independent hit "Swingers" (1996), followed by a return to television in "The Net" followed by the motion picture "The Replacements" (2000).

Langton is most noted for her role as Samantha Reilly on Fox's "Melrose Place" from 1995 to 1998.
