Police seek dangerous martial artist suspect

Honolulu CrimeStoppers and the Navy Regional Security Investigation want the public's assistance in locating a suspect described as an armed and dangerous martial artist.

Police said Ian Enitan is wanted on a federal warrant for terroristic threatening and also for questioning for drug and firearms violations.

Enitan is also believed to possess a dependent military identification card and may be entering military installations.

Police said Enitan is trained in various martial arts and should be considered dangerous. Enitan, 35, is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with a slim build, black hair, brown eyes and tattoos on his right arm, left shoulder, left ankle and left hand.

Anyone with information about Enitan may call naval investigator Travis Earl directly at 474-6205.

Anonymous calls may also be made to CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cellular phone.

Arrest tied to alleged killer of Indreginal

Police said the arrest Thursday of a relative of 11-year-old Kahealani Indreginal is not related to the girl's slaying.

However, it is related to another case involving Indreginal's accused killer, Christopher Aki, said Lt. Bill Kato, Honolulu Police Homicide Detail.

Police arrested a 41-year-old man for drug and drug paraphernalia possession and for being a felon in possession of a firearm after executing a search warrant on the man's Kauhale Street home.

Police recovered crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, an automatic firearm and a silencer.

Kato said the search warrant was part of the investigation into Aki's firearm case. An Oahu grand jury charged Aki last month with possessing a firearm without a permit.

It stems from an August 2001 incident in which Aki was found with a firearm after being stopped for driving a stolen car, Kato said.

The owner of the car later withdrew the auto theft complaint, and the firearm case sat dormant.

Police renewed their investigation into the case after Aki, 20, was arrested and charged with Kahealani's murder.
