First, she was the one that she wanted, then she was the full-on, in-your-face Notorious C.H.O. Now Margaret Cho wants nothing less than total Revolution! Hawaii's favorite Korean-American "fag hag" funny woman and channeler of her beloved mom returns for two shows in April: At the Waikiki Shell on April 12 and at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center the following day. Tickets go on sale Saturday. Tickets are $25 to $45 on Oahu and $29.50 to $45 on Maui. Call 526-4000 or 242-2787.

"Quattro Noza," by Maui-based filmmakers Joey Curtis (director/writer) and Kenneth K. Martinez-Burgmaier (associate producer), won the Best Cinematography award at the just-completed Sundance Film Festival. Derek Cianfrance was the film's director of photography.

Cookie recipes sought for Valentine's Day

The prizes in Kakaako Kitchen's cookie contest will warm the tummy and the heart: The winner gets gift certificates for 24 plate lunches and the knowledge that 12 dozen grand-prize cookies will be delivered to Queen's Hospital as a Valentine's Day treat for patients.

Recipes should be original. Any type of cookie is allowed (doesn't have to be Valentine's themed). Drop off recipes at Kakaako Kitchen in Ward Centre, or fax to 596-9114, by Saturday. Finalists will need to deliver a baker's dozen of their cookies to the restaurant for judging on Feb. 8.
