In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Korean immigration to Hawaii, Korean Festival 2003 was held yesterday at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand. Han Hee Ju, along with other models from the Karam Dance Institute in Korea, modeled traditional Korean costumes by Korean designer Keun Chul Shin. Yesterday's Sunset on the Beach at Queen's Surf Beach, which coincided with the festival, featured Korean dances and a video on Korean immigration.

The Chinese Cultural Plaza downtown was alive with dragons, food, and fun yesterday as the Chinese New Year was celebrated. Here, a dragon from the Chinese Physical Culture Association made its way through the crowd.
