McKinley rallies in fourth
but loses to Castle in OT

Emmett Aberilla stole an inbounds pass in overtime and William Harvest followed with his only points of the game to seal Castle's 38-35 victory over McKinley last night in an Oahu Interscholastic Association game.

Charles Teixeira had 12 points for the Knights, who improved to 3-0 in the Eastern Division. Castle and Kaimuki are atop the East at 3-0, with Kalaheo sitting at 2-0.

The Tigers (1-2) outscored the Knights 13-6 in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 32 and send the game into overtime.

Jason Rivers and Jonah Lakatani combined for eight points on four consecutive layups early in the fourth quarter to help the Crusaders win.

Saint Louis took an 18-4 lead midway through the second quarter only to see the Junior Bows rally behind a 14-2 run to close the margin to two at halftime.

Rivers finished with 14 points and Lakatani added 13.
